Information Technology Services (ITS) PEMCCO maintains a core staff of computer hardware and software application experts with a proven ability to design and conduct training on management information systems. Our engineers, programmers, analysts, and network technicians carry network projects beyond the hardware installation stage to address the performance, communications, and security issues at hand. Network Installation and Maintenance Our technical staff is well versed in various topologies that govern communications in Local Area Networks (LAN), Metropolitan Area Networks (MAN), and Wide Area Networks (WAN). We provide networking support in design, installation, cabling, diagnostics, maintenance, network management, testing, and training for these various configurations. Database Design and Development Our programmers and analysts thoroughly plan, design, implement and test databases for clients. Our technical staff works with databases such as Oracle, Access, SQL, and other database applications and development tools. PEMCCO designs inventory control visual database systems containing site locations, equipment, computer system component information, history and other various fields as determined by the customer. All of our visual database systems are web accessible with the appropriate security features to our customer's satisfaction. We also perform in data conversion, data forms management, data retrieval automation, cable tracking and user training. Industrial Computer Systems Maintenance and Repair PEMCCO's staff of technicians provide 24-hour replacement of damaged computers and computer components on a not to interfere basis. Troubleshooting of the computer system to determine the repair solution is performed and followed by burn-in testing and shelving of the system for future shipment. Additionally, we provide storage, inventory tracking of customer materials and complete installation of fully configured systems for shipment at our customer's request for future use. LAN/WAN Telecommunications Design Our engineers, analysts, and network technicians provide network administration and PC level support to shore based data centers and onboard ships. We are also fully experienced in supporting a wide range of users - from the customer with a single server to those with WAN connectivity using Windows NT, Novell, TCP/IP, SNMP, Microsoft NT, Server 2000, XP and Cisco Servers, Digital Switch Routers, DDN, and DECNET. System Analysis PEMCCO engineers and analysts breakdown client requirements and technology needs to determine how they affect one another. In the designing of information infrastructures, we use appropriate level of detail, identify relevant activities, define relationships among activities, forecast time duration, and identify all relevant personnel.
