Quality Assurance
Our Quality Control and Performance Measurement approach identifies key components of our philosophy on Quality Management, and it describes how we will monitor and maximize quality for the Seaport-Enhanced contract vehicle. Our approach to Quality Control Management includes not only Quality Assurance (assuring quality through process definition and implementation) and Quality Control (controlling quality via inspections and audits), but also Quality Measurement (measuring quality by gathering and reporting performance metrics).
The Quality Assurance Systems Manual describes the Quality Assurance/Quality Control Program at PEMCCO, Inc. that is applicable to all processes of the organization from contract review through material receipt, installation, inspection, test and delivery of product. Through an agreement with Computer Science Corporation (CSC), approved for participation in the Department of Defense (DoD) Mentor Protégé Program, we are currently pursuing ISO designation and conducting our annual quality assurance/quality control review to ensure these procedures comply with ANSI/ISO/ASQ Q9001-2000 and will forward copies of current updates if requested.
Customer satisfaction and superior, timely delivery of products and services drive qualityin concept and in actual output. We continuously seek client feedback using:
- Customer Scorecards
- Surveys on product and service delivery and performance measures attained
- Periodic input from client task manager(s)
- Formal review mechanisms measuring customer satisfaction.
Through feedback, we ensure that our Quality Control Management Plan reflects our meeting of performance objectives, standards, and Acceptable Quality Levels (AQLs) specified for the Seaport-Enhanced contract vehicle.
